Every once in awhile you just get the itch to buy property in Thailand. And when you do, Eco Real Estate Asia hopes that you will choose them to guide you through the process. Even if you haven’t thought at all about Asian real estate, you might warm up to the idea of living in Thailand once you catch a glimpse of the gorgeous properties.
Initially I was impressed that Asia had an established eco-real estate organization. After all, the green build industry in most Asian countries is considerably behind Europe and North America. But then, upon closer inspection it became unclear how this organization was actually “eco real estate” at all. Besides the name, there is not even a mention of sustainable practices, green building, or eco-materials. Apparently they are not the shining star of eco real estate in Asia.
Whereas the name is perplexing, the symbol is disheartening.The leaf comes from the same stock imagery that earned Romania’s new identity a foul reaction throughout the marketing industry. Eco Real Estate Asia must not be that lucrative of a business or they’d be able to afford logo design.
