Astronaut led the development of the brand strategy and all communications tactics for Slingshot, a technology revolution in precision agriculture, by Raven Industries. The launch of the new brand met with dramatic, industry-wide success. Sales of the system helped drive a 12 percent gain in profits for its business unit in its first quarter. It also became the backbone of Raven’s most important tech division, helping to drive growth – and the eventual acquisition of this $1+ billion company. Today the Slingshot brand is globally known in agriculture and have become what the client refers to as a “cult brand.”
